Reverse Osmosis uses pressure and filters to get only water (H20) out of any polluted water.

Desalination

Equipment: Manufacturing plant to manufacture it, method of transporatation to transport it, oil, electrical pumps, infrastructure to disburse water, and salt water.

Cost per liter of water: Extremely High

Typical location of use: Cities near a saltwater source.

Burn oil to heat up water to make steam and the steam condenses into water (H20).

Typical location of use: Third world countries with polluted water and no infrastructure.

Light a match to burn wood to heat up water to make steam. A compressor gently compresses the steam to raise its boiling point to 105 degrees centigrade. A tube then transfers the 105 degree water to encircle the first chamber to help heat it. Then the 105 degree water exits as fresh water at around 60 degrees centigrade.

Typical location of use: Anywhere once mass produced.

Spread graphene sheet over a bucket. Pour polluted water over top. Gravity will pull only water (H20) through graphene.
